College Applications
Seniors should be applying to colleges they are interested in. Ensure they apply to at least 2 Christian Colleges if possible.
Athletes
Student athletes need to be working with coaches and recruiters. Review the NCAA eligibility requirements with each athlete yearly.
ACT/SAT
Announce ACT/SAT testing dates and registration deadlines, available on the tests websites.
ACT Prep Classes
Direct students to register for the ACT at the end of preparation course.
Have juniors prepare for the ACT test via an online course. PrepMe or Sevenstar are reputable providers.​
Communication
Set up a group email list so that you can email students and parents easily. Keep copies of emails sent so that you can refer back to them. Hold student accountable to respond to the content of your emails. Share plans for the academic year and include any specific dates you can identify.
Financial Aid Night
Arrange for a nearby College, if possible a nearby Christian College to present a Financial Aid Night and FAFSA workshop.
Needs to be scheduled close to the FASFA opening for the seniors.
Senior Lunches
A fun way to keep in touch with your seniors is to have lunch together once a month. Provide a dessert and use the time for announcements and check-in on thier progress.

Assist seniors to apply to colleges if they did not as juniors. Sooner the better!
